Opens 22 February for a strictly limited season!
So why book a ticket?
If you love war movies, with a big dose of romance thrown in, you’ll love Tosca. It’s named for a woman who does something extraordinary for the man she loves: a romantic hero who is really a hero. Oh, and it’s got opera’s best villain.
The music is simply stunning, from the rousing sacred chorus Te Deum to the devastating Vissi d’arte.
The set is a breathtaking recreation of three real Roman locations, including the soaring marble columns of the Sant’ Andrea Della Valle church. (You'll never guess it's painted PVC piping!)
Veteran theatre director John Bell’s thoughtful production is real and raw.
It’s a realistic story, with a fast-moving plot that will draw you in until the very last notes.
