Saison de Setsuko Specialises in Chocolates

One of the new trendy places in Kyoto, Saison de Setsuko is a Kyoto-based chocolatey that specialises in chocolates with beautifully hand-drawn motifs inspired by the changing seasons.

Try their matcha-flavoured chocolates, kasane-yaki sesame biscuits, and terrines which are available in gift box sets.

Operating out of a renovated traditional Kyoto merchant house, there is an elegant cafe on the second floor where you can savour specialties like Chasen Chocolate (a chocolate drink you whisk yourself as you mix matcha and add toppings like yuzu or black sugar sauce), and the Uji matcha-flavoured Chocolate Terrine set where you can add toppings like yuzu or cream.
