Mr. Htay Aung and former Minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand H.E. Senator Weerasak Kowsurat.

H.E. Weerasak Kowsurat | Senator of Royal Government of Thailand
Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat formerly served as Thailand Minister of Tourism and Sports, Who later became Chairman of the Board of the Sports Authority of Thailand and also Chairman of the Board of the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

Vice Minister for Culture and Vice Minister for Social Development and Human Security, He once served as Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister in International Affairs. Twice elected Member of Thai Parliament and was recorded the youngest Secretary to the President of Thai National Assembly who ex officio Speaker of the Senate and Chairman of the Constitution Tribunal at the age of 24.

H.E. Htay Aung | former Minister of Hotels and Tourism of Myanmar
Mr. Htay Aung is a former military officer and politician, who previously served as Minister of Hotels and Tourism in Myanmar. He was appointed in September 2012 by President Thein Sein, effectively receiving a promotion, as he had previously been a deputy minister at the ministry from March 2011 to September 2012. He received a MSc degree in Hotels and Tourism Management from George Washington University, US in 1991 and a PhD degree in Literal Arts from Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand in 2016.

Mr. Xu Jing | former Director of Asia Pacific, World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)
Mr. Xu Jing is a former Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific at the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) – a position he has occupied since the end of 2003. In addition to his regional responsibilities, as of January 2014, he has been appointed UNWTO’s Director – Executive Secretary of the General Assembly and the Executive Council.

Mr. Xu Jing began his career in tourism at the China National Tourism Administration where he was in charge of the international relations division. He joined UNWTO in 1992 as Officer to the Regional Representation for Asia and the Pacific. Over the years, he coordinated and supervised numerous UNWTO technical cooperation projects and sectoral support missions on subjects of contemporary interest to the tourism community of Asian countries.
