It is now run by Katarina Thingvall, the great, great, great, great, great, great, great-granddaughter of Carl-Johan Thingwall, the Manor’s founder. Located 12 km from Råneå, in sub-arctic region of Swedish Lapland, it is a grand traditional Swedish building, was first converted into accommodation for visitors in 1996.

A new three-night bed & breakfast experience (December to March) sees guests arrive into the manor along the Iron Ore road by dogsled, before enjoying the chance to meet and dine with Katarina and her father, Göran.
