This experience is available inside a modern version of traditional Japanese snow houses called “kamakura”, where you can dine seated at a warm kotatsu (low table covered by a blanket with a heater under it) while enjoying the magical snowscape.
It is not something only skiers can enjoy, but also anyone visiting Yudanakashibu Onsen and the Snow Monkey Park is welcome to drop in.
It is recommended that you order a hot pot dish of pork or chicken with vegetables decorated with Japanese radish in the shape of a little white bear.
A shuttle bus is available from JR Yudanaka Station.
