UPDATED CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 AND NEW ENTRY TO VIETNAM POLICIES as of March 14th, 2020

ITS would like to share with you the official update regarding coronavirus outbreaks in Vietnam

1. NOTICE ON COVID 19 - VIETNAM TOURIST VISA SUSPENSION
To staunch the spread of COVID-19, for 30 days from March 18, 2020, Vietnam will not be issuing visas to any foreign nationals.

Travelers from countries with visa exemptions will only be allowed to enter if they can show medical papers certifying they are free of the virus.
All incoming travelers from the United States, European and ASEAN nations must undergo medical checks and 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Vietnam.

Additionally, ALL inbound travelers entering Vietnam are required to submit a health declaration form. Travelers need to fill out this form at the airport upon arrival or submit it online in advance at https://tokhaiyte.vn/ or https://suckhoetoandan.vn/khaiyte
Any travelers experiencing symptoms of the virus — fever, cough and difficulty breathing — should immediately call Vietnam’s health hotline: 19003228 .
