World's Fastest Growing Dining Out Program Zomato Gold Takes Over Melbourne

2-for-1 on dishes, 4-for-2 on drinks? Welcome, Zomato Gold

Zomato Gold is an international subscription program with 1.5 million members in nine countries – UAE, Portugal, India, Philippines, Indonesia, Lebanon, New Zealand and Turkey, who have enjoyed 25 million+ meals across our 15,000+ partner restaurants. Seeing the potential of the Australian market, Zomato has launched Gold in Melbourne, making Australia the 9th country to have the program.

Started in March 2017, Zomato Gold provides members with exclusive dining experiences while giving dining venues the opportunity to reach new customers and increase customer loyalty.

Zomato Gold members get to enjoy 2-for-1 on food or 4-for-2 on drinks at Gold partner restaurant/bar any time, any day. They are able to enjoy these benefits at 400+ partner restaurants across Melbourne.

Sign-ups for the program started around noon on Friday July 26. Initially, Zomato only opened up 500 spots but due to high demand, they added an additional 1500 memberships which sold out in under eight hours.

Prior to its launch, the program already had more than 10,000 users who had registered their interest around 12,000 still remain on the waitlist.

Zomato Gold plans to open its memberships again for a limited time period soon (go register on the app or to bit.do/melgold to be notified of this). The number of available memberships will continue to be limited.

The partner restaurants include some of Melbourne's favourites such as Joomak, Hakata Gensuke Ramen Professionals, Serotonin Eatery, Drumplings, Polly Cocktail Bar, Storyville and 400+ more.
