A total of 105,120 newlyweds nominated and rated the product, service and value for money of 4,579 wedding businesses, with a subsequent 336 finalists vying for Australia's most prestigious industry awards.
Kingfisher Bay Resort was the only Queensland finalist in the category, competing against 7 other resort venues from South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
Businesses are required to receive high-quality ratings and reviews across 4 consecutive years in order to qualify as a National Finalist or Winner. The esteemed accolade was presented in front of a host of fellow vendors from across the nation at the Star, Gold Coast on August 6th.

This was off the back of further local success, having taken out three top honours at the Fraser Coast 'Bride's Choice Awards'. Kingfisher Bay Resort were nominated in five categories and claimed 'Best 4.5 Star Wedding Venue', 'Best Accommodation' and most impressively, 'The Best of the Best'.
