My non-smoking Club Room was a warm and pleasant home away from home. The welcome fresh and dried fruit, flowers, and welcome note were appreciated. I enjoyed its spectacular views of the Bangkok skyline through its floor-to-ceiling window.
The modern comforts included a large LCD television, complimentary wireless internet access, individually controlled air-conditioning and wake-up service. Tea and coffee making facilities and a complimentary mini bar made refreshments easy. Other inclusions were an iron and ironing board, electronic safe and direct dial telephone and daily housekeeping.
The spacious living area had comfy armchairs, coffee table, and a work desk and chair.
Each night I had a very restful nights sleep on the king sized bed with its Simmons plush mattress. The pillow menu, blackout curtains, mood light, and music helped my sleeping.

The bathroom had a separate bath and shower with rainshower feature. The floor to ceiling bathroom window made for a wonderful city view whilst I soaked in the bathtub. A good range of toiletries, including aromatherapy body shower gel and body lotion, was restocked each day.
My Club Room gave me exclusive access to the Club Lounge on Level 20. Here I enjoyed the daily scrumptious breakfast, morning and afternoon tea breaks, and relaxing evening cocktails. The Lounge was never crowded, so was a nice quiet place get away from the hustle and bustle of busy Bangkok.

The facilities and services provided by Amara Bangkok Hotel ensured a pleasant stay for myself and the other guests. The outdoor infinity-edge roof-top pool on the Level 26 was a pleasure to swim in to cool down and its deck lounges were a comfy place to rest. The Akaaza rooftop bar next to the pool offers a trendy line-up of cocktails and tasty bar snacks. A modern fitness room has several pieces of equipment that can be used to work out any time of the day or night. There are impressive views over the city from both the pool and the fitness room.

The Element Restaurant offers delicious buffet and a la carte Thai, Asian and Western cuisines. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has both indoor seating and a refreshing al fresco dining area. I enjoyed my breakfasts there each morning and my two Thai dinners there. It was better eating there rather than going to an outside restaurant.
The Amara Bangkok is conveniently located in Silom, an exciting area of Bangkok. It is on Surawong Road, parallel to the main Silom and Sathon roads and is very close to business districts, many shopping malls and entertainment venues. It is just 1 klm from the city centre and it offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations, including the popular Patpong Night Market. It is a 10-minute walk to Chong Nonsi and Sala Daeng BTS stations and Sam Yan MRT station.
