We are currently home to both Gourmet Traveller's Winemaker of the Year, Steve Flamstead of Giant Steps and James Halliday's Winemaker of the Year, Sarah Crowe of Yarra Yering. So - we know a thing or two about wine in these parts. What we are also, is home to smaller wineries specialising in alternative varieties and larger wineries experimenting with lesser known styles. This trail is all about trying something new, something tended by a winemaker and grower passionate about it's particular qualities.
