These impressive honors highlight the hotel's continued commitment to excellence, with each award voted for by travel and tourism professionals from across the globe, as well as guests.
As the Grand Dame of Australian hotels, The Hotel Windsor has a rich 133-year history and exudes timeless Victorian charm, with 180 impeccably appointed rooms and suites, including the award-winning Royal Suite.
Director of The Hotel Windsor, Adi Halim, is honored to see the hotel celebrated and awarded by its peers at the World Travel Awards™, especially as the hotel prepares for its much anticipated $350 million renovation project, which is expected to be completed in 2019.
“We are delighted to have been presented these incredibly prestigious awards and to see the hotel celebrated by others in the industry. This truly is testament to the exceptional team at the hotel and I extend my gratitude to each member involved,” said Mr Halim.
The 2016 Asia and Australasia Gala Ceremony was held at the Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Danang, Vietnam three hours ago, and celebrated the success of World Travel Award winners from around the region.
