Located on Ground Floor, 131-135 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Citadines on Bourke Melbourne invites the public to come along and support these wonderful small businesses. Entry is free of charge.

About the stall holders:

Damien Kinney from Cloud Nine Teas sources highest-grade artisanal teas from China, Japan and Taiwan as well as unique hand-made Japanese tea wares. Damien selects teas that are true to their origins, such as wild-crafted Pu'er, black teas and white teas from Yunnan province in China; a range of the world's best green teas (from Japan's Uji Valley), and small-batch oolong teas from family-run estates in the mountains of Taiwan.

Red Door Corner Store is a little café in Northcote serving breakfast, lunch and coffee made from fresh, local produce. Selling homemade sweets, deli-style snacks, scrumptious breakfast and delicious lunch prepared by Kristie Stewart and her chefs, Red Door Corner Store is a uniquely Melbourne café experience.

Erin Browne of Tinka the Label wants her jewellery to be unique and special to each individual who buys her products. Whether it’s supporting local charity stores by purchasing recycled and vintage objects for her up-cycled collection, using packaging made from recycled elements, sourcing materials predominantly from other small businesses, or by choosing gemstones for their healing properties, each aspect of Tinka the Label is driven by Erin’s strong pursuit of sustainability.

Amelia Kingston is the owner and founder of AKA, a small, independent company based in Stawell, producing hand thrown and hand painted ceramic homewares and jewellery using locally and ethically sourced materials. Her home wares; including bowls (with her original distinctive wave edge), cups, planters, hanging planters, ring holders, vases, platters and plates are both functional and beautiful, drawing on elements of nature.

Bon Lux are small-batch handmade perfumed candles and other lovely things in illustrated packaging created by Chantel Camilleri. From a tiny studio in Melbourne, fragrance is blended, mixed with wax and poured in small batches of 6-10 at a time. Finest quality soy wax is used because it is non-toxic, creamy coloured, carries scent softly, and is sustainably farmed. Cotton wicks, hand-blown re-usable glass votives, and non-bleached card boxes are all used to minimise impact on the environment-handmade and thoughtful in each aspect.
