Glass Walkways Opened in Tianmen Mountain National Park

Glass walkways have quickly become a popular feature at many dramatic cliff and mountain locations throughout China’s national park system.

One of the latest opened in Tianmen Mountain National Park, Zhangjiajie, in northwestern Hunan Province.

Prior to the walkway, the main attraction was a cablecar ride from nearby Zhangjiajie railway station to the top of the mountain. Tianmen Mountain Cableway has 98 cars, a total length of 24,459 feet and an ascent of 4,196 feet.

The glass walkways near the top of the mountain offer incredible views.

Read more about it and see photos here in a recent article from Travel and Leisure.
