An exhibition themed “Cultural heritages and antiques of Luong Son district” opened at the cultural house of Luong Son district, northern Hoa Binh province, on October 3.
Nearly 300 original items and relating documents are on display, such as the remains of two orang-utans dating back 8,000 years, a collection of bronze drums from the Bronze Age of 4,000 years ago and collections of ancient pottery of the Ly, Tran, Le, Nguyen dynasties from the 11th to 19th century.
Besides, outstanding heritages and relics in Luong Son district are also introduced. Currently, there are 44 archaeological, historical and cultural heritage sites in the district, including five national ones.
The exhibition runs until October 8. It is to celebrate the 130th founding anniversary of Luong Son district, toward the 130th anniversary of Hoa Binh province, as well as the second Chieng Muong cultural festival.
