Shanghai’s attractions, both man-made and natural, are world-famous and worth visiting while in China.
Iconic sites throughout Shanghai work hard to keep their offerings current and attractive to visitors.
In the coming months, some of these attractions (such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Ocean Aquarium and Shanghai Wildlife Park) will introduce a slight increase in ticket prices (less than five dollars).
However, during the first week of this year’s Shanghai Tourism Festival – which takes place fromSeptember 12-October 6, 2015 – many of the city’s tourist attractions will offer half-price admission to celebrate.
From September 12-18, visitors will be able to take advantage of special deals at places including the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Fengjing Water Town, and the Science and Technology Museum, among others.
Millions of people attend the Shanghai Tourism Festival each year, and enjoy the added entertainment that takes place throughout the city for the occasion, including parades, food tastings, river cruises, shopping, and games and competitions.
