KIDS ENTERTAINMENT OPENS AT SYDNEY AIRPORT

Sydney Airport is entertaining families over the September school holidays with free dynamic game technology. The interactive Australian Rules themed ‘Virtual Kick-Off’ and colourful ‘The Cubby House’ activations harness digital augmentation and touchscreen technology encouraging kids to experience the new games in a physically interactive way.

‘Virtual Kick-Off’ is located beyond customs on level two Departures Pier B and uses augmented reality so kids can use their legs, hands and even their arms to manoeuvre a virtual ball through the four goal posts.

Met with cheers from the virtual crowd, players stepping onto the grass carpet will be captivated by the sound of the referee’s whistle and transported into the world of an Australian Rules stadium.

‘The Cubby House’ includes a choice of three adventures: ‘Na – nah!’, ‘Band Room’ and ‘Balloon Pop’ on a large, bespoke touchscreen located beyond customs on level two Departures Pier C.
