A brand new tourism product has been launched in time for Australian Tourism Exchange 2015.
This new product brings together Western Victoria’s leading food and wine destinations together with Victoria’s top touring company, Australian Wine Tour Company.
By taking this overnight, tailored made tour, guests will experience behind the scenes tastings at boutique wineries, award winning dining, luxurious accommodation and exclusive opportunities to sample wines not generally available to the public.
Western Victoria is home to some of the most incredible food, wine and landscapes in Australia. Iconic wineries such as, Seppelt’s, Best’s of Great Western and Mount Langhi Ghiran in addition to landmark gastronomy centres Royal Mail Hotel, Dunkeld and The Lakehouse, Daylesford provide exceptional food and wine experiences.
Making it all more special is the diverse range of backdrops including the amazing Grampians National Park, vast fertile pastoral lands as well as beautiful towns and villages dotted throughout the region.
This first of its kind bespoke tour eliminates the need to self-drive and navigate, especially with the great wines to taste. Guests will travel in deluxe vehicles and be hosted by guides with exceptional wine and local knowledge. The opportunity to meet the people behind the labels - the winemakers, the owners and the people who are genuinely passionate about their products will be a feature.
