Hilton Opens First Hotel in Yunnan, China

Hilton Yuxi Fuxian Lake

Hilton Yuxi Fuxian Lake opened this week, bringing a Hilton brand hotel to southwest China’s picturesque Yunnan Province for the first time. 

The hotel sits on the northeast coast of Fuxian Lake, and only 55 miles from Kunming’s Changshui International Airport. Yunnan is a growing area for tourism and manufacturing, and the lake area is ideal for outdoor activities, watersports, sight-seeing and family-friendly attractions. 

Hilton Yuxi Fuxian Lake sits on a private white-sand beach and the hotel’s 346 guest rooms feature private balconies and peaceful lake and garden views. 

There’s an adjoining golf course and driving range, extensive meeting and events facilities, spa, six bars and restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and more. 

The Luchong Scenic Area and Maotian Mountain Geo National Park are nearby, as is the Yuxi Museum, which houses fossils from the lake.
