Take mum to new heights with Mother’s Day at Eureka Skydeck

Spoil your mum on Mother’s Day with an unforgettable trip to Eureka Skydeck, the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere.

On Sunday 10th May Eureka Skydeck’s much-loved mascot Deckstar will make a special appearance between 11.00am and 3.30pm and children’s activities will be on offer.

Eureka Skydeck, a must-see and do experience, is the perfect Sunday outing for mums after a bit of adventure this Mother’s Day.Located on the 88th floor of Eureka Tower, the observation deck provides patrons with 360 degree floor-to-ceiling views of Melbourne and beyond.

Eureka Skydeck’s VERTIGO green screen installation will still be in action for Mother’s Day. The specially constructed VERTIGO set allows guests to have their photo taken with the illusion they’re falling through the glass floor of the Edge and are trying to hold on for dear life, 285 metres above the streets of Melbourne.

Patrons are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild while creating and capturing their Eureka VERTIGO photo. The realistic and compelling 9” x 6” photograph comes with a digital copy ready for upload to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The Eureka VERTIGO experience costs $12.00.

On Mother’s Day guests will also be able to take full advantage of:
  • The Edge - The world’s only Edge experience is an awe inspiring 3m by 3m transparent glass cube, which slides out from the building on Level 88, suspending guests above the Melbourne skyline. Patrons can purchase their official photo taken while out on the Edge, ready for upload to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • The Serendipity Table – Located on Level 1, the Serendipity Table is an immersive gesture-sensitive table-top that gives guests a top-down view of Melbourne and many of its fantastic land marks and attractions before they head up to Level 88.
  • The Outdoor Terrace - Enclosed by a wire grid, the Outdoor Terrace exposes guests to the elements on Level 88. The Terrace is right next to the Edge, so family and friends can view those inside.

Eureka Skydeck 88 operates from 10am to 10pm daily (last entry 9:30pm).
