National Tree Day 2011 in Muswellbrook Shire

If you would like to do something fun and positive for your local environment, join in the National Tree Day 2011 and get your hands dirty planting local native trees. Community groups, families and individuals are invited to come along and help beautify local parks and wetlands. Anyone with a green thumb, or not a green thumb, is welcome to join in on Sunday 31 July 2011 from 9:00 – 11:00am.  

You will need to wear sturdy enclosed shoes and a hat and bring along some gloves. The trees and garden tools will be supplied. A BBQ lunch will be provided for all volunteers at Muswellbrook to thank the people for their contribution to the environment.

The 2 locations in the Muswellbrook Shire, (NSW, Australia) are :
- Karoola Wetlands - Aberdeen Street Muswellbrook and
- The Denman Wetlands - Merino Street, Denman.
