Aroma Festival 2011 Maitland

The 3rd Maitland Aroma Festival - Coffee, Chocolate and Fine Food Festival will be held on the Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August 2011 in the Heritage Mall in the heart of Maitland, NSW, Australia. Maitland is 93 km away from Muswellbrook, 34 km from Newcastle, and 166 km from Sydney. The Maitland Aroma Festival is a coffee, chocolate and fine food affair and aims to ward off the winter chill with the best local coffee roasters, a delectable range of chocolates and much more including wines, desserts, local cuisine and fresh produce through exhibitors, demonstrations and displays.

Due to the popularity and growth of the Maitland Aroma Festival in its very short two year history the event will be extended this year to go beyond just the Heritage Mall, to west along High Street through the Church Street intersection.

This expansion will see the introduction of new features to the Festival including 'Kids in the Kitchen' - chocolate making classes and a Vintage Car display. These new activities will complement the existing features of the festival such as chocolate making demonstrations with Hamilton TAFE, Chocolatier Dean Gibson, High Tea, artisan market stalls, guided history walking tours, horse and carriage rides and the extensive range of blues, boogie and folk music.
