A Major Push to Boost High-Season Tourism
The official launch was led by Nat Kruthasoot, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), alongside senior representatives from the Tourism Council of Thailand and Airports of Thailand (AOT). Their united message was clear: Thailand is ready to enhance travel spending, enrich the visitor journey, and meet its ambitious tourism targets for the final quarter of 2025.Running from November to December, the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign builds on the success of its inaugural edition and aligns with the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025. The program highlights the concept of the 5 Grands – Grand Moment, Grand Privilege, Grand Invitation, Grand Festivity, and Grand Celebration – spotlighting Thailand’s signature 5 Must Do experiences: Must Taste Thai cuisine, Must Try Muay Thai, Must Buy Thai fashion and textiles, Must Seek new destinations, and Must See cultural performances and festivals.
Exclusive Discounts and 300+ Nationwide Travel Privileges
One of the campaign’s key features is the expansive sales promotion involving more than 300 leading Thai businesses. Participating partners include hotels, restaurants, retailers, and tourism operators offering special rates and added-value benefits designed to stimulate spending and strengthen tourism-linked economic growth. Travellers can take advantage of discounted stays, dining promotions, shopping privileges, and unique activity packages that encourage deeper exploration of Thailand’s culture, nature, and lifestyle.
The Amazing Bag: A Creative Gift to Welcome Visitors
A standout highlight of this year’s campaign is the Amazing Bag giveaway. Inspired by the 5 Must Do in Thailand, each bag contains community-crafted souvenirs that showcase local materials, artistry, and craftsmanship. International visitors also have a chance to win travel vouchers valued at over 1,000,000 Baht.Visitors can redeem their Amazing Bag simply by presenting their passports at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, or Phuket International Airports between 1 November and 15 December 2025. With dedicated distribution zones supported by AOT, the initiative reinforces Thailand’s warm hospitality and aims to leave travellers with a meaningful memento of their journey.
Industry-wide Support Strengthening Thailand’s Tourism Identity
The Tourism Council of Thailand reports overwhelming nationwide participation from tourism operators eager to showcase Thai culture and hospitality. The unified effort demonstrates the industry’s belief in the campaign’s potential to broaden income distribution and increase economic opportunities across regions.TAT aims to generate at least 400 million Baht in tourism revenue through the 2025 edition alone, further reinforcing Thailand’s position as a regional tourism powerhouse and a destination that consistently delivers memorable experiences.
Driving Global Outreach and Preparing for a Milestone Travel Season
As part of the Big Impact, Act Fast strategy, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports is accelerating promotional activities in seven major markets: China, Japan, South Korea, India, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Special emphasis is being placed on attracting 2–3 million Chinese visitors by the end of 2025.The government is also coordinating nationwide hospitality efforts to ensure seamless visitor experiences throughout the high season, especially with Thailand set to host the 33rd SEA Games in December.
