ABC Reef Safaris Launches Voyager – A New Era of Luxury Reef Touring in Port Douglas

ABC Reef Safaris is proud to announce the launch of its new custom-designed vessel, Voyager, set to commence operations on 1 December 2025. Representing the first new reef tourism vessel in Port Douglas since 2018, Voyager marks an exciting new chapter for the region’s premium reef touring industry.

Purpose-built to cater to discerning travellers, Voyager will carry a maximum of 24 guests in refined comfort, offering an intimate and highly personalised journey to the Great Barrier Reef. With an impressive 6:1 guest-to-crew ratio, guests will enjoy a curated and interpretive experience led by ABC Reef Safaris’ exceptional team of Marine Biologists, Naturalists and Master Reef Guides, making a trip with ABC Reef Safaris one of most engaging experiences a traveller can have with the Great Barrier Reef.

The development of Voyager was made possible in part through the Queensland Government’s Growing Future Tourism Fund, which supports innovative tourism projects that enhance Queensland’s visitor offerings and create new economic opportunities.
