Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau are now working together with Hello Kitty of Sanrio Co., Ltd. to roll out the ‘
How to “Hello Tokyo”’ campaign, which provides a primer on local etiquette and culture to Tokyo tourists. Keep an eye out for posters at Tokyo Metropolitan cultural facilities and other locations.
They will be implementing an initiative that helps visitors to Tokyo learn about manners and customs for their stay so they enjoy their time in the city.
1 Sticker Distribution
Stickers featuring Sanrio Co., Ltd.’s Hello Kitty will be distributed to tourists visiting Tokyo.
You can view a special website with the slogan How to “Hello Tokyo” by scanning the QR code on the stickers.
On the website, Hello Kitty showcases travel manners and other tips to make sightseeing in Tokyo fun for everyone.
2 Posters
Posters featuring Hello Kitty showcasing travel manners and other tips will be displayed on the Toei Subway and at Tokyo Tourist Information Centers, municipal cultural facilities, port/airport facilities, and other locations, as well as on digital signage boards throughout the city.
