Phu Phra Bat Historical Park in Thailand

Recently recognized as Thailand’s newest UNESCO World Heritage site, Phu Phra Bat Historical Park in Udon Thani features a large number of ancient ruins and objects, mainly from the Dvaravati, Lop Buri, and Lan Xang periods. 

From relics of prehistoric humans dating some 3,000 years ago to carved items of more recent vintage, Phu Phra Bat is a treasure trove of prehistoric cave paintings, sandstone images and graven images of the divine.
