DELHI-DEHRADUN EXPRESSWAY SET TO OPEN IN JULY

The six-lane access-controlled Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is set to open in July, with the fourth phase, linking Dehradun to Rajaji National Park, nearly complete.

It will travel through Baghpat, Baraut, Shamli, and Saharanpur in addition to Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

The expressway includes a 12-km elevated section over a seasonal river to protect the local wildlife of Rajaji National Park, the longest wildlife corridor in Asia.

Travel time from Delhi to Rishikesh-Haridwar is expected to reduce from the previous 6-7 hours to about 4-5 hours, boosting connectivity to popular travel destinations like Rishikesh, Rajaji National Park, and other parts of Uttarakhand.
