Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s beautiful “Pearl Island,” is now inviting the world’s travellers to experience “Kiss of the Sea,” a brand-new multimedia, multi-sensory show incorporating exhilarating elements of water, fire, dancing, music, storytelling and Vietnamese culture, culminating in a dazzling daily fireworks performance, which is now thrilling spectators in a spectacular sea theatre at Sunset Town.
Newly launched on 26 January 2024, this ground-breaking new show has been created by ECA2, the acclaimed French company which has developed live productions in 17 countries worldwide. This sensational show depicts a timeless tale of romance, elevated to the stars as a local boy from Phu Quoc falls in love with a girl from the centre of the galaxy and they embark on a journey through space and time. Every evening, the performance concludes with a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the sky above Sunset Town.
Suitable for all ages, this awe-inspiring theatrical performance sees up to 60 international artists perform live on stage, with an amazing array of dramatic styles including trampoline, ballet, acrobatics, gymnastics, freestyle dance and more. With colourful costumes and creative choreography, this pulsating production is sure to stimulate the senses and inspire the imagination. More than 60 talented international performers have come together from all around the world to create this dazzling live show.
Empowered by state-of-the-art technology on an epic scale, this multi-million-dollar performance is depicted on a vast 1,000-square metre seawater screen – the world’s largest sea-based theatre. This mesmerising multi-level, free-form stage also comes fully equipped with three projection domes and 300 devices to deliver a diverse range of stunning special effects and thrilling pyrotechnics. Each night, this theatrical extravaganza culminates with a breath-taking fireworks display that lights up the sky above Sunset Town, including the iconic Kiss Bridge and the sparkling seascape. “Kiss of the Sea” incorporates exhilarating elements of water, fire, music and dancing to create an awe-inspiring multi-sensory experience.
