new electronic ticket system |
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh - Director of the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts said that the museum has applied applications, using iMuseum VFA, 3D Tour, and virtual art exhibition space (VAES), creating convenience for visitors and bringing practical effects in preserving and promoting fine art heritage.
In order to continue to improve the quality of service, the museum coordinated with the Tourism Information Technology Center - TITC (under VNAT) to set up the electronic ticket system "Online - Connecting - Multimodal". Visitors are not required to go to the counter but can proactively buy tickets online from anywhere and check their tickets themselves by using many methods quickly and easily.
According to Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc, Vice Chairman of VNAT, this is a new solution to support attractions, museums, and relics in innovating methods of selling and checking entrance tickets, creating convenience for all three parties: visitors, travel businesses, and destination management boards.
He hopes that travel businesses will take advantage of the superior features of online ticket booking to bring more visitors to the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to admire its precious collections of Vietnamese fine arts and experience many interesting creative activities at the museum.
Director of TITC shared that this is a new solution to support tourist destinations in innovating the way to manage the entrance ticket system, from ticket sales, ticket control, and ticket statistical reporting in a scientific way.
This solution is expressed through three important keywords:
- “Online”: Support visitors, tour operators, and tour guides to order tickets online through “Vietnam Travel” app;
- "Connecting": Supports different tourist attractions in linkage to sell tickets inter-line, visitors can buy tickets once at one location and use at many locations.
TITC earlier supported the deployment of the electronic ticket system at Van Mieu (Temple of Literature), the Ho Chi Minh Monument at the Presidential Palace, and Quan Thanh Temple.
