Supporting Chinese Associations to Go Global

Association Day Forum
27 March, 11.20 to 12.20 hrs

Chinese Trade Associations and Chambers of Commerce play an important role in facilitating the global push of their corporate members. They can organise and coordinate various cooperations and exchanges between enterprises, promote win-win partnerships among members, and form alliances or collaborative networks to collectively explore overseas markets. Through various conferences and exhibitions, promotional activities, business visits and other events, Chinese associations provide platforms for member enterprises to showcase their products and services, strengthen communication and cooperation with overseas customers. For associations to truly go global; firstly, the exhibitions and events they host need to have an international reach. This requires China's meeting and exhibition Industry to support Chinese associations, continuously moving towards better market capture, specialisation, and internationalisation, in order to support the associations’ aspirations.
