Togakushi Shrine in Nagano Prefecture
Considered one of Japan's top power spots, the Togakushi Shrine in Nagano Prefecture consists of a total of five shrines dedicated to gods related to Japanese mythology.

Located at the foot of Mt. Togakushi, it is an ancient shrine packed with history spanning over 2000 years since its founding. 

Surrounded by rich nature, you can feel the calm atmosphere of this majestic shrine as the seasons change. 

The five shrines that make the Togakushi Shrine are "Okusha", "Chusha", "Houkosha", "Kuzuryusha", and "Hinomikosha", and each of them enshrines a different deity. 

You can visit and pray at any of the shrines to receive the blessing of your choice, or go for the "Gosha Meguri", which means to tour and visit all five shrines. 

The area is also famous for its local dish, Togakushi soba. 

You can find soba restaurants near the shrine to complete your Togakushi experience!
