Get your adrenaline pumping in Wakayama Prefecture!

This adventure takes you down the Kitayama River on a traditional log raft, where 'river runners' skilfully navigate the rafts through rocky rapids and calm waters.

This experience is sure to leave you with memories to last a lifetime!

Travel tip: Kitayama log rafting is available from May through September.

From May to June, the log rides run on weekends and holidays only, while from July to September, they run every day except Thursday (unless Thursday is a public holiday).

This rafting adventure departs twice a day, at 10:40am and 1:00pm, so be sure to plan accordingly!
