Anniversary (Bounty) Day
is held on 8th June, celebrating the arrival of the
Pitcairn Islanders in 1856. The islanders were the descendants of the infamous Mutiny on the Bounty. The re-enactment is held in Kingston the World Heritage Site.

Bowling
is very popular on the island and in fact Norfolk Island is represented at the Commonwealth games in lawn bowls. The club hosts Annual tournaments and also social games. Visitors are most welcome.
This year the Theatre Festival celebrates its 25th year!
It is a great week of entertainment. Local and visiting Amateur theatre groups perform short plays all competing for amazing prizes.The stunning seaside Golf course
is located in Kingston the historical World Heritage Site. The annual tournaments are very popular so ensure you book ahead. The course is open all year round and visitors are most welcome.
Foundation Day
celebrates the arrival of the First Fleeters to Norfolk Island. Lieutenant Phillip Gidley King landed on 6 March 1788 with a party to establish the first convict settlement. A morning re-enactment is held at Emily Bay lagoon.
Thanksgiving Day
is celebrated on the last Wednesday of every November. Local churches are decorated with food and produce and a service of thanks is held. Afterwards, the goodies are auctioned off with all monies going back to the church.
