A hidden gem of a cat island…

With a population of around only 60 people, Okayama Prefecture's southernmost island of Mushima is one of many charming islands dotting the Seto Inland Sea.

 
Aside from the notable presence of cats, Mushima is known for the tens of thousands fragrant daffodils that bloom in January and February each around Mushima Lighthouse, Okayama's first lighthouse. 

Be sure to stop by the Mushimahama Brewery for some refreshing locally made craft beer.
