VISITOR ARRIVALS MARCH 2023

New Australian Bureau of Statistics data shows there were 234,000 short-term visitor arrivals to NSW in March 2023, an increase of 171,380 compared with March 2022. 

The number of trips for March 2023 was 25.5 per cent lower than pre-COVID levels in March 2019. 

The three leading source countries for NSW were: United States (32,380 trips) New Zealand (29,280) and the United Kingdom (27,610). 

The number of long-term visitor arrivals (one year or more) was 27.9 per cent higher than pre-COVID levels in March 2019 at 23,540.
