8AM: Start your day early and avoid the crowds at the iconic Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. This ancient Shinto shrine is one of the most important religious sites dedicated to Inari, the deity of business prosperity and industries, household and traffic safety and advancement in the performing arts.
10AM: Go for a stroll around Hokan-ji Temple, a 5-story pagoda in the charming Higashiyama District. Wander the nearby cobblestone streets of Ichinenzaka, Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka to soak in the atmosphere of a bygone era.

6PM: By this time, you will have worked up an appetite again. Head to the popular Kiyamichi Street, which runs next to the Kamogawa River. This is one of Kyoto’s liveliest night destinations, so your opportunities are endless.
