Travelindex, a content-driven ecosystem for the travel and tourism sectors, has announced its ‘TOP25 Restaurants Awards Phuket 2022’ list, showcasing some of the best eateries to be found on the famous resort island.
Taking the top spot on the annual list by Travelindex is Samut restaurant in the Nai Han area, where chef Chatchawan Varahajeerakul serves up fine Thai cuisine with a focus on local seafood enhanced with local ingredients and spices.
In second spot is L’Arome by the Sea in Kalim Bay where Swiss chef Yannick Hollenstein creates modern French dishes complemented by splendid sea views.
In third place is Michelin-star restaurant PRU located at Trisara resort helmed by chef Jimmy Ophorst, who prepares fine regional food inspired by Thailand’s various ecosystems.
Rounding out the top five eateries on the list are in fourth place m Nitan in the Cherngtalay area where chef Pom prepares Southern Thai classic dishes, and in fifth spot, Suay in Thalang district where chef Tammasak Noi Chootong serves modern Thai dishes infused with European techniques.
