The Giant Race, presented by Alaska Airlines, represents the perfect combination of running and baseball. After successfully hosting virtual races in 2021, Giants Enterprises is proud to announce that the marquee San Francisco Giant Race will be hosted live in-person on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
The San Francisco Giant Race will offer 5K and 10K live race events, with a virtual option for those who cannot attend in person. The 13th Annual San Francisco Giant Race will also feature an extensive and family-friendly Health and Wellness Expo on Saturday, August 20. Fan favorite events like the Kids & Family Race on the field, activations that focus on mental and physical health, and packet pickup will all take place on Saturday at Oracle Park. The 5K and 10K live races will incorporate more of Oracle Park’s unique pathways, the Embarcadero and the always exciting finish on the field.
Participants will receive a 2022 Brandon Belt bobblehead featuring his classic captain's pose, wearing a maritime hat and his memorable "C" taped on his jersey to symbolize his self-proclaimed "captain" status. Participants will also receive a finisher’s medal, commemorative race bib and limited edition Giant Race shirt. For those Giants baseball fans in attendance, 2022 will be the year for you! For the first time, The Giant Race will offer a buy one, get one offer that comes with race registration and a redeemable ticket offer for select 2022 Giants home games.
