The Otsuka Museum of Art

The Otsuka Museum of Art is not your average museum – this is Japan’s largest exhibition space that’s entirely dedicated to reproductions of Western art.

It houses life-size reproductions of virtually every masterpiece of Western art from antiquity to the 20th century, featuring artists like Michelangelo, Monet, and Picasso.

It even has reproductions of altars, tombs, and entire halls – including the Sistine Chapel.

While the original artworks are scattered around the world, this museum is the only place to see them all under one roof, and since they’re reproduced pieces, not only can you take photos, but even have a feel of the artworks on usual days (unfortunately, due to the pandemic, visitors are not allowed to touch them for now).

After feasting your eyes with the beautiful artworks, you can satisfy your taste buds with artistically prepared desserts from its cafe.
