HOSHINOYA Bali, a resort hotel located in the Ubud region of Bali, Indonesia, will host “Camilan Gazebo” program, from October 20th, 2019 to March 31st, 2020, where one group of visitors per day will be able to enjoy an afternoon at Cafe Gazebo. In a special space covered by a canopy, guests will be provided with Camilan, which is a specially made snack/sweet by HOSHINOYA Bali, along with drinks. “Camilan Gazebo” will be the perfect program for a relaxing afternoon.
The Goal of “Camilan Gazebo”
HOSHINOYA Bali’s Cafe Gazebo, which protrudes out over a 170m deep valley, is a curious place, where people sitting on the sofa feel like they are floating in the sky. In the afternoon, visitors can enjoy a refreshing breeze, and marvel at the tropical forest spread out below. It is the perfect place to do whatever you want, whether it is taking a nap and watching the trees, reading a book, or drawing a picture.
To further embellish this special place, the hotel prepares Camilan for visitors here. Camilan is a word in the Indonesian language meaning snack, or sweet. This program was developed based on the hotel team’s desire to allow visitors to enjoy Camilan while spending their time as they wish.
1. Enjoy the soft sunlight and valley breeze at Cafe Gazebo
After three in the afternoon, the powerful tropical sun begins to set, and the sunlight becomes more gentle. It is a different place to the Cafe Gazebo of the morning, which was directly exposed to the powerful sunlight. In the afternoon, Cafe Gazebo is filled with the fresh breeze that blows through the valley. And as the sun sets, that breeze becomes more refreshing, creating a comfortable space that could only exist in the afternoon. Visitors can listen to the birdsong and flowing river, immerse themselves in nature, and relax.
2. A special space with a canopy swaying in the breeze
For this program only, a canopy will be set up above Cafe Gazebo. The canopy turns Cafe Gazebo into a private space, where visitors do not have to worry about being seen.
In addition to the canopy, other items, such as books, sketchbooks, and binoculars, will be there so people can enjoy their time as they please.
3. Choose the course you prefer
In this program, HOSHINOYA Bali will prepare three courses of specially made Camilan and drinks. The courses are named in Indonesian: Santai (Relaxation), Fokus (Focus), and Rahat (Rest).
Each course is made up of three types of snacks and drinks, and participants can choose the course best suited to them.
1) Santai (Relaxation)
This course is recommended for those who want to enjoy alcohol in the afternoon. All the drinks are alcoholic. Guests can enjoy an original cocktail with sparkling wine, Bali dessert wine aged in an oak barrel, and more.
2) Fokus (Focus)
This course is recommended for those who want to focus on reading or drawing. The drinks are cold brew coffee made with HOSHINOYA Bali original blend coffee beans. To go along with the coffee, there is also a roast pork sandwich with a sauce made with honey.
3) Rahat (Rest)
This course is recommended for those who want to lie down in nature and relax. Visitors can relax and be calmed by the fresh aroma of fruit tea made with citrus fruits like orange and lemon, and an original cocktail made with red wine featuring spices like ginger.
