The province earned around 3.3 trillion VND (143.4 million USD) in tourism revenue, marking a year-on-year rise of 9 percent.
The Hue Monuments Conservation Centre will be open free for domestic travelers, from 7am to 5pm on National Day (September 2).
A series of activities will be held on the occasion of the National Day, such as music performances at various sites, and re-enactment of royal games and activities.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dung said the province attracted about 400,000 visitors during the April 20 and May 1 holiday this year, 135,000 of them stayed overnight, up 11 percent annually.
The province is now home to seven tangible and intangible cultural heritages of humanity.
