Antipodean Wines Shine at Up & Above Restaurant & Bar

Up & Above Restaurant & Bar at The Okura Prestige Bangkok is hosting a special wine tasting that epicureans won’t want to miss. Available in two formats — either as a standing tasting with a selection of tapas or as a sit-down dinner with tapas and a 4-course set menu — the evening highlights great wines from the Southern hemisphere, specifically wines from the famed Barossa Valley region of South Australia and the Marlborough region of New Zealand.

Across the Tasman Sea, the Marlborough region is located in the northeast of New Zealand’s South Island and is well known for producing excellent Sauvignon Blanc.

Option 2 also features free flow wine the tapas selection plus a 4-course set menu that includes a starter of beef Carpaccio, a mushroom and chive cream soup, a choice of veal osso bucco or tuna mignon for main course and a dessert of tiramisu with crunchy chocolate.
