Australian artist and award-winning textile designer Chris Chun is renowned for his distinctive, mixed media paintings. His work has found a spiritual resonance with fans all over the world. Inspired by his recent travels around Asia and a love of antique textiles, Chris’s paintings reflect an inherent joy and harmony. The beauty of nature and all its infinite charms.

He is also exhibiting his Indigo series of limited edition etchings, Orchid Prints and a series of special dog prints based on the astrological elements of the Chinese Zodiac – Earth, Metal, Fire, Wood and Water. 2018 is the Year of the Dog.

The Artist’s Table is Chris’s first exhibition in Sydney since he moved to Chiang Mai in 2010. He has been a finalist in the Fleurieu Peninsula Biennale Art of Food Prize. He has exhibited at the Washhouse Gallery in Rozelle, Hill Smith Gallery in Adelaide and Libby Edwards Gallery in Brisbane.
