- BIG4 Deniliquin takes home top ‘Caravan & Holiday Parks’ prize
BIG4 Holiday Parks demonstrated its category leadership as the network took home the top three ‘Caravan & Holiday Parks’ spots at the 2016 Australian Tourism Awards, held in Darwin this weekend.
For the second year in a row, BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park was crowned gold, while BIG4 Adventure Whitsundays took out Silver and BIG4 Beacon Resort the Bronze.
CEO of BIG4 Holiday Parks, Steven Wright, said the accolades were amazing honours for the park owners, recognising their dedication to excellence within a highly competitive category.
“Congratulations to BIG4 Deniliquin owners Frank and Lynda White and their team for being acknowledged as Australia’s best Holiday Park for the second year running,” said Wright. “It’s a tremendous achievement. Pleasingly, their dedication passion and commitment to their park and business is being deservedly recognised.”
“We’re proud that this year, they’re competing within a particularly illustrious field. The awards have really illustrated how we really do have the ‘best-of-the-best’ within BIG4 – all seven state and territory winners in the running were members of the BIG4 Holiday Park network: BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park (NSW), BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort (QLD), BIG4 Beacon Resort (VIC), BIG4 St Helens Holiday Park (TAS), BIG4 Adelaide Shores Caravan Park (SA), BIG4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park (NT) and Denmark Ocean Beach Holiday Park (WA).
“Our park owners are continually raising the bar for industry standards. They’re going the extra mile for guests – and at the end of the day it’s our guest who benefits from that effort and passion as they enjoy that break they so deserve.”
