The Himeji Castle Cherry Blossom Viewing Festival will be held on Saturday 8 April at San-no-Maru (Third Bailey) Square at the foot of Himeji Castle. The festival includes recitals on traditional Japanese musical instruments such as Japanese harps or wadaiko drums, providing an elegant accompaniment to blossom viewing.
