Spring festival 2017 at Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, diverse cultural activities will take place during the Spring festival 2017 at the Viet Nam National Village of Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Son Tay Town, Ha Noi from February 4 to 5.

Spring goat fighting festival of Hoang Su Phi District, Ha Giang Province

The festival will draw the participation of 190 heads of villages, intellectuals and artisans from 16 ethnic minority groups from 16 provinces nationwide.

Ethnic people will introduce unique customs to welcome Tet, feature traditional foods and perform folklore singing.

Especially, ethnic people from Hoang Su Phi District, the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang will organize a spring goat fighting festival, and Thai ethnic people of the northern mountainous province of Dein Bien will introduce village worshipping festival.

The event highlight will be an art performance to praise the Party and welcome the Spring.
