China’s Low-cost Airlines Join Wi-Fi Revolution

Responding to customer demand, Chinese low cost airlines are in a race to provide Wi-Fi service in the air.

Spring Airlines, Lucky Air, and 9 Air each have recently announced plans to make Wi-Fi available on their flights.

Low-cost airlines keep fares low by cutting back on services, such as complimentary food and drink.

But more traditional airlines are offering Wi-Fi on-board, and low cost carriers are following suit.
