Western Australia's Coral Coast tourism body has launched its new 2017 travel guide offering a comprehensive source of tourism information for tourists and travellers alike. Available in three formats – print and online for download – new for 2017 is the online plus digital extras format which includes embedded videos.
Known for its natural events and attractions such as the annual Whale Shark season and the Pinnacles Desert, the Coral Coast region starts just two hours north of Perth and runs north to the Ningaloo Reef. It is a diverse journey through deep red desert landscapes alongside 1,100 kilometres of uncrowded, stunning coastline. Brimming with uninterrupted and uncrowded stretches of white beaches, untouched coral reefs just metres from the shore, breathtaking national park gorges, pink lakes and turquoise waters plus brilliant carpets of colourful wildflowers, the Coral Coast really has something for everyone.
Suzanne Fisher, Marketing & PR Manager for Australia's Coral Coast, said that whether you are a first-time tourist or a seasoned traveller of Western Australia, the free trip guide will assist with planning the perfect holiday getaway. The guide offers useful advice on transport options, best times to visit, a seasonal produce calendar, accommodation and tour operators plus maps, itineraries and experiences.
To complement this colourful holiday destination, this year's guide has a new look and feel and is coupled with inspirational content and imagery, some of which is sourced from the region's 40,000 plus Instagram followers. The Coral Coast holiday guide will excite visitors as they research and plan their trip through a combination of famous tourist attractions as well as lesser known 'local delights' for returning travellers.
The guide will also be provided to Travel Trade for education, itinerary assistance and product contracting. The digital extras version of the guide is accessible in desktop and mobile formats, with embedded videos coming to life at the push of a button – perfect for on-the-go product training.
