In Llandudno there are many adventures to be had. You can stroll along the pier, take the tram up the Great Orme, come down a ski slope and explore Conwy Castle – a World Heritage Site.St Davids, famous for its cathedral, is also in the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A quick trip to the islands of Ramsey, Grassholm, Skomer and Skokholm give the opportunity to view sea life and catch sight of a puffin or two.
There is no place quite like Hay-on-Wye. This town of books has many retailers to explore, as well as its own castle that has its own honesty bookshop.Barmouth, with the Mawddach Estuary and Cardigan Bay lapping at its toes and the foothills of Snowdonia rising dramatically at its back.
