Pandaw reports successful inaugural Halong Bay & the Red River sailing

Halong Bay
Pandaw’s first river expedition from Halong Bay to Hanoi and upstream to the remote and undiscovered Red and Da Rivers has just concluded to very positive reviews from Pandaw guests. 96% of the comments on the programme, from the cuisine to excursions, crew and on board experience were rated either excellent or good.

Pandaw Director, Hugh Clayson commented: ‘we had new and past Pandaw travellers on our first sailing and were really encouraged by their responses. They enjoyed the unique experience of sailing on a larger, luxurious, colonial-style Pandaw ship in Halong Bay, exploring Hanoi from the perspective of the river and admiring unspoilt scenery on the Da and Red Rivers. We also had excellent praise for the cuisine and excursion programme, some to places visited by tourists for the first time’.
