Night Spectacular Returns to Sovereign Hill for Dazzling Christmas in July Event

These school holidays, Sovereign Hill will be transformed into a dazzling Winter Playground with a night spectacular program like never before. Visitors will be swept up in the magic of Christmas, and astounded by incredible light projections, set to rival events like White Night Melbourne!

Following on from the enormous success of last year's event, this Christmas in July program promises to be the largest regional event in Victoria, and will captivate visitors young and old.

As well as a full program of Christmas themed activities during the day, the outdoor museum will once again be transformed into a dazzling Night Spectacular with large-scale projections lighting up the outdoor museum.

During the day, Sovereign Hill will come alive with Christmas festivity, as Victorian-style Christmas trees and colourful decorations adorn Main Street, carolers delight with their favourite renditions of well-known carols, and snowflakes gently fall over the buildings, creating a magical winter playground. Kids will also be kept entertained with fun hands-on activities, like gingerbread making and Christmas crafts.

At night, Main Street will sparkle with a truly amazing light spectacular show with Sovereign Hill's Victorian-style buildings in Main Street lit up with large-scale image projections. This show will be bigger and brighter than ever before with more buildings lit up in spectacular style, evoking the spirit and enchantment of Christmas.

Visitors of all ages can enjoy a full day of Christmas excitement with activities for everyone, and as the sun goes down, Sovereign Hill will light up to dazzling effect each evening after 5.30pm.
